May 9 - Outside

Today was another topic that was so broad it was almost difficult. But I got inspired when a friend of mine suggested we go for a nature walk and decided to bring my camera along. This was my favorite picture of the evening, and we totally weren't expecting to get sunset pictures! It was also a last minute decision to go up a hill onto some train tracks, but if I have my camera and I'm near train tracks, you better believe I'm taking a picture. This picture was one of those moments of just being at the right place at the right time and getting lucky. It was cloudy all afternoon and evening, but the sun decided to make a brief appearance before setting for the night, and what a sight it was! A good sun flair is one of my favorite things to photograph, and this one was worth the hike!
