May 21 - Mirror Selfie

This picture actually turned out better than I thought it would. It's hard to take a mirror selfie that doesn't look super basic. But there is a contrast of colors and textures I like in this photo, and with the frame being out of focus, it actually looks like you're standing in front off the mirror looking at it, rather than just looking at a picture of someone in a mirror. Or like you're standing on the other side of the mirror look at me while I snap the picture. It's more visually interesting than I anticipated it being when I saw today's challenge topic. And no, I don't normally take a picture with my other eye open like that, but I figured I should show at least part of my face since it's supposed to be a selfie!
