May 13 - A Wall

Today I was at my mom's for a few, and I brought my camera in case I got inspired since her house tends to have more interesting things to photograph than mine does, depending on the subject. When they bought their house, it was covered in wallpaper, and they had all of it removed except for this wallpaper in their front hall. I'm not really a fan of wallpaper, but this pattern is pretty and very easy on the eyes, and it's very welcoming when you walk inside. Complimented by the white trim and doors, and even down the detail of the the light switch plate and the little gold doorknobs, it was a pretty fantastic wall for today's photo!
