Feb. 6 - Opposites

Earlier today I was that random person awkwardly taking pictures of trees on the side of the road where there was no sidewalk. I was on my way to run errands, and literally stopped and made a u-turn in the middle of the road then pulled over to a side street as I saw this potential photo op for today's challenge. Fortunately for photographers, looking awkward on the side of the road is the least of our concerns as long as our pictures come out well. And I think this one did (thank goodness because I needed to redeem myself a little after yesterday!). The first thing I noticed was the obvious the contrast in colors, but then I realized this made for a great "opposite" - leaves that are dead and alive.
