Feb. 23 - Inspirational

Honestly, I had no idea what to do for this photo to the degree that I almost skipped it. But my friend and I got a craving for cake earlier, and as we took the lid off I realized I was inspired by this cake. I had a side business years ago making and decorating cupcakes, and I really loved it but was also working full time, and eventually it just got to be too much. Every time I see a cake or cupcakes, though, it inspires me and takes me back to my cupcake decorating days, and part of me wishes I could start it up again. I actually won the first cupcake competition I ever entered with Almond Joy cupcakes. It was the National Capital Area Cake Show's Cupcake Challenge, and it was SO much fun. Maybe one day!
