Feb. 15 - Ink

I feel like a lot of people are going to do a picture like this, but I never have and always wanted to, so I did too. My first thought for ink was one of my tattoos, but I would have wanted to use a macro lens while actually getting tattooed rather than just taking a pic of one I already have. But I don't have a tattoo appointment today, and I thought it would be weird to call the shop and ask if I could photograph a stranger just for this, so ink in water was option B and I think it worked. Better lighting would have given me a little more detail but I still like it. Watching ink flow through water is actually sort of mesmerizing!
